Includes paintings of birds over Stiffkey salt marsh in watercolour
and in tempera on gesso panels, some with gold leaf.

These paintings were made using the same techniques as Romanian icon paintings, some using gold leaf, and some with religious subjects. They are all small scale, the largest being about 14 by 10 inches and the smallest 6 x 4 inches. |
The Alphabet began as an Exhibition at Abbot and Holder in 2002. Now a second series has been completed. Giclee prints and greetings cards of selected letters are available for sale.
